1. Who we are

Diver5ify is a specialist search firm operating across the United States and Europe through two related entities that share this website:

Diver5ify LLC — the US operating entity, with offices in New York and Austin. For CCPA / CPRA purposes, Diver5ify LLC is the relevant "business" in California.

Diver5ify Ltd — the European operating entity, with offices in Dublin, London and Lisbon. For EU and UK GDPR purposes, Diver5ify Ltd is the data controller.

The two entities operate a single, integrated talent and client function, and personal data may be shared between them where necessary to deliver a search engagement, subject to appropriate safeguards. Registered office addresses are available on request.

If you have any privacy questions, contact us at info@diver5ify.com, on +353 86 158 8381 (Ireland) or +1 929 289 9459 (US).

2. The personal data we collect

We collect personal data in the ordinary course of running a search business. The categories depend on whether you are a candidate, a client contact, or a website visitor.

Candidates. Name, contact details, current and prior employment history, education, professional qualifications, compensation history and expectations, CV and resume, references (with your consent), notes from interviews and reference calls, and any further information you choose to share with us.

Clients and prospective clients. Name, job title, business contact details, employer, mandate details, written correspondence, and notes from meetings and calls.

Website visitors. Server log information including IP address, browser type, pages visited and approximate location, used to understand site traffic and protect against abuse. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

3. Why we use your data (and lawful basis under GDPR)

We use personal data to provide search services. Our lawful bases under Article 6 of the GDPR are typically:

Legitimate interests — running our business, contacting candidates about relevant opportunities, contacting clients about relevant mandates, maintaining our talent pool, and protecting our systems.

Consent — where we ask you explicitly (for example, when sharing your CV with a specific client, or when collecting sensitive personal data).

Contractual necessity — performing search engagements with clients and assisting candidates through interview, offer and onboarding.

Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by applicable law.

4. Sharing your data

We share personal data only where necessary:

— With clients, for the purpose of considering you for specific roles you have agreed to be put forward for.
— With professional service providers (IT, legal, accounting) under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms.
— Where required by law, regulation or court order.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. International transfers

Diver5ify operates across the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Where we transfer personal data from the EU / UK to the United States or other jurisdictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses and, where relevant, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Data retention

We retain candidate data for as long as it is useful for future opportunities, typically up to seven years from last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to delete it earlier. Client correspondence is retained for the duration of the engagement and for a further six years for record-keeping and legal purposes.

7. Your rights under GDPR (EU and UK)

If you are in the EU, UK, or otherwise covered by GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to overriding legal grounds.
Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
Portability of data you have provided to us, in a machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent at any time, where consent was the lawful basis.
Complain to your local supervisory authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@diver5ify.com. We will respond within one calendar month.

8. Your rights under CCPA / CPRA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect about you, the sources, purposes and categories of recipients.
Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Diver5ify does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

To make a CCPA request, write to info@diver5ify.com. We will verify your identity before responding and aim to respond within 45 days. You may also designate an authorised agent to act on your behalf.

9. Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies necessary for the page to function — for example, to remember that you have dismissed the cookie banner. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, social-media or other tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future we will update this notice and present a consent prompt where required.

10. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure; please do not send highly sensitive information to us by email.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate.
